Audarma Publishing House is a Kazakhstan–U.S. publishing house dedicated to bringing the voices of Kazakh authors to the world.
Founded through a partnership between the Kazakh PEN Club and international literary advocates, Audarma was born from a simple yet powerful conviction: Kazakhstan's stories deserve to be heard globally, in the language of global readership — English.
We specialize in literary translation and international publication of Kazakh fiction, poetry, nonfiction, and drama. Our mission is to introduce English-speaking readers to the rich cultural, spiritual, and intellectual heritage of Kazakhstan, through works that span generations — from literary classics to bold contemporary voices.
Our goals:
To promote Kazakh literature on the global stage, building cultural bridges through translation.
To elevate modern Kazakh authors, making their works accessible to readers, scholars, and students across the world.
To offer affordable, professional publication opportunities for writers of Kazakhstan via digital platforms and print-on-demand services.
Since our launch, Audarma has published works by leading Kazakh authors including Nurlan Orazalin, Nina Trox, Maruana Khamzakyzy — in partnership with renowned literary translators from the United States and the United Kingdom.
Our books are available through Amazon. Each title is produced with editorial integrity, cultural respect, and world-class design.
We proudly present the translation series “Diverse Voices of Modern Kazakhstan” — a growing collection of poetry and prose that offers international readers a deep and nuanced understanding of Kazakh identity, memory, and imagination.
Let the steppe speak.
Let the world listen.
